St Mary’s physicist picks up Gold Award

June 24, 2019

The University of Oxford hosted its annual AS Physics Challenge as part of British Science Week. This is a national competition entered by several thousand students each year. It is designed to push the most able students to the very limits of their ability and tests a wide range of skills. Every award from this event is an impressive achievement: the average score this year was 29%, and only 11 students achieved above 80%. Congratulations go to one of our most talented Lower Sixth physicists, who earned one of the precious Gold Awards, making her one of the top 4% of entrants in the country.
