Gender pay gap report 2021

As required by the Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information Regulations 2017) the gender pay gap at St Mary’s has been calculated in order to show the difference between the average earnings of men and women across the school. The calculations were based on the workforce on 5th April 2020.

The school uses salary scales for teaching staff and hourly rates of pay for domestic and catering staff, thus ensuring equal pay for men and women. The gender pay gap is a result of the roles that men and women are employed in and the salaries these roles attract.
