PE
The PE department continues to enjoy The Orchard Centre, our sports hall. The hall includes a dance studio, multi-purpose sport space and fitness suite.
This adds to our excellent facilities which also include an all-weather Astroturf hockey pitch, an indoor heated swimming pool, 7 hard tennis courts, 4 netball courts with 2 being floodlit and good grass pitches used for hockey, rounders and athletics.
Curricular activities
The department offers a full sports programme which varies between age groups. In Key Stage 3 the curriculum is set out as below. In Key Stages 4 & 5 pupils may choose their own sporting activities during lessons from the list shown.
Inter-House Events
These are run in many sports including Netball, Hockey, Swimming, Gymnastics, Tennis, Cross Country, Rounders and Athletics.
