Charlotte Partridge has recently completed her training as a portrait artist.  She spent a year at the Charles Cecil art school in Florence and then spent three years training in London.  She has recently completed a year at a small atelier in Philadelphia and, now that she is based back in the UK, would love to let AOGs know of her services as a portrait artist.  Do visit her website to find out more or to discuss a commission.

 

 

Who's Who in Catholic Life - Entrants wanted

 

Who’s Who in Catholic Life is an annual publication, containing biographies of Catholics from all walks of life whose life, career or vocation may be considered to be of special merit. It includes, amongst many others, actors, lawyers, politicians and journalists, alongside teachers, cardinals and parish priests. In short, it is a cross section of public life and achievements that have ever been the Catholic Church.

We are currently looking for entrants for the next edition and invite anyone who is interested to be considered for inclusion. So please don’t be self-effacing - send your contact details to Lynda Walker and application forms will be sent out shortly.

Brittany Hotel with specialist weeks

 
 
AOG Emily van Lier (née Boyd-Carpenter) and her husband have now moved to Brittany, France where they are working at the family hotel. It is an early 19th century building, featured in a number of French style magazines and set in a beautiful location, right on the sea, and has a fantastic restaurant and spa with large heated indoor pool. There are wonderful beaches, walks, sailing, surfing and riding in the area.
