St Mary’s has two recently refurbished, libraries.  The Junior Library is specifically for Years 7–10 and the Senior Library is for use by Year 11 and sixth form only. Both house a large collection of subject material, along with an extensive reference collection, newspapers, journals and very popular fiction sections. Both have wireless access to on-line material via the school network and internet.

The Senior Library is also home to a suite of offices which house the Head and Deputy Head of Sixth Form, Upper and Lower Sixth Academic Co-ordinators, and the Oxbridge Co-ordinator.

The libraries are run by a qualified librarian and a team of experienced assistants who are on-hand to help with research and requests throughout the school day and during evening study time.   The Junior Library is available for use from 8am to 9pm each weekday and the Senior Library from 7.30am until 10.30pm. Both offer full access at weekends.
